Welcome to Bellabambini Doula and Antenatal Services

Hi my name is Linda and I'm a trained midwife with a background in working in all areas of midwifery including the community and have witnessed many beautiful home births. I'm also an author and have worked in research at the University of Oxford.

I'm passionate about all things childbirth!  I've just commenced a breastfeeding counselling course so am keen to support you on your breastfeeding journey.

Women have been supporting women through childbirth from the beginning of time

As an antenatal teacher, I believe that part of finding that confidence and calmness to becoming a parent comes from knowledge. This is essential to help both you and your birth partner to understand the birth process and beyond, to enable you to make truly informed choices. To release fear and gain confidence in your body to birth your baby.

As a doula I can help you and your family embrace your new life with your baby, leaving you feeling cared for, listened to and understood.

If you would like to chat or find out more about my Doula Services or ~Antenatal Classes before booking then you can book a free no obligation video chat or phone call.  So message me via my 'contact me' page.

My Story

My Story

I started my training as a midwife aged 43 qualifying aged 46 with 4 young children. Once qualified I worked in an obstetric unit and then progressed to a midwifery led unit and then to working within the community. So I have a lot of experience in all areas of midwifery. However, midwifery never offered me the opportunity to really get to know birthing people and their families and offer them the continuity or time they deserved. So I changed direction and worked at Oxford University to pursue a career in research. Having since completed a Doula training course with Birth Bliss Doulas, I now feel that this is the right time to find that continuity I have long been seeking.

I am currently undertaking a breastfeeding course with the London Centre for Breastfeeding Education and Research and would love the opportunity to support you through your breastfeeding journey.
