Birth preparation - (see details of Antenatal Classes if you wish to attended classes in Axbridge)
If you don't live in or near Axbridge I can offer two birth preparation sessions (on-line) or in person where we can get to know each other and discuss your birth preferences and work through any worries or queries you or your partner may have. This will allow you to feel calm, relaxed and supported leading up to your birth.
Postnatal support
Cost £300 plus travel expences
I will come to support you a few days following the birth or whenever is suitable. I can hold a safe space to debrief your birth where we can discuss any concerns and celebrate your successes.
I can also assist you to get feeding established and to provide support with preparing meals and light duties around the house.
I can also provide the space and reassurance which is so important following this life transition, and allow a much needed break and time to refuel. Leaving you feeling confident and calm and able to navigate your life with a new baby.
Included within this package is support up to 12 hours (to be arranged), extra hours can be arranged at a cost of £25 per hour + fuel costs

You will leave the classes feeling more confident and calm in the knowledge that you are prepared for all eventualities. You will also have the confidence to care for your baby.
Includes 4 sessions £295 per couple.

Getting Birth Ready -from planning place of birth, not due dates, the power of hormones to 'am I in labour?' Pain relief options, monitoring and preparing your home for baby
Week 2
What if things don't go to plan! - From induction of labour, assisted birth, C-section, to birthing your placenta and Vitamin K for baby
Week 3
Going home with baby - Feeding your baby - what to expect in the first 2 weeks, from breastfeeding, hand expressing, formula feeding and combination feeding
Week 4
Life as a new parent and what to expect - from caring for the newborn, what could it be when I've tried everything?, how to care for yours and your partners' mental health
